Gareth Evans
follows the director path of Indonesian martial arts, the movies he created are
called The Raid, and The Raid 2. However the first ever movie he had made was
called ‘’Samurai Monogatari’’.
His first
major achievement was the film ‘’Footsteps’’, the film was premiered at the
Swansea bay film festival, and was given the best film Award.
However, Gareth had also managed to
begin directing a documentary in Indonesia, which has 5 episodes, following the
cultural heritage of Indonesia. I like Gareth Evans because he chose a great
cast, not only that, but he has a creative imagination, which created a
detailed storyline, so that it wasn’t just only mindless fighting and death. He
implies different perspectives of each character throughout the film, in good
detail which applies more graphic details.
